Delightfully Yours Cross Stitch Projects
Hello Stitchers! I am so excited to share about a new collection of patterns! These 3 new designs are a special collaboration with Sherri McConnell for the release of her new fabric line Delightfully Yours by Sherri and Chelsi for Moda Fabrics. I am so fortunate to be able to work with her and just love the idea of creating a few fun cross stitch pieces to go along with her quilt patterns. The coordinating colors make these the perfect hand stitched project to display alongside Delightfully Yours Quilts!
Here are a few notes about the new designs. All of the samples are stitched on 28 count Lugana by Zweigart in the color Antique White. Antique white is the perfect background color to match Delightfully Yours background fabric. All the samples are stitched with 2 strands of DMC floss, picked carefully to match the Delightfully Yours colors.
Now for the good stuff…pictures! I am offering a bundle price for all 3 patterns (paper or pdf). Each pattern is also available individually.
Block Party
I like Block Party because is shows each of the floss colors so well! The different types of “quilt blocks” keep the stitching interesting. As I was stitching the full sized version, I had the idea to stitch each of the blocks individually and use a mini charm square to finish the back and make little pillows. These turned out to be my favorite part of this collection! The pillows are so tiny and cute, they look perfect displayed in a dough bowl. The stitch count for this chart is 95w x 95h.
Sunnyside
For Sunnyside, I decided to do a mini version of Sherri’s quilt pattern, and stitched only 4 blocks. I also wanted to do something different with the colors, so I chose to do a red, white, and blue theme. I think it’s perfect for late Spring and Summer decor! The stitch count for this chart is 71w x 71h.
Quilter’s Cottage
Last but not least is Quilter’s Cottage. I love stitching something that has a different style for every row, it really keeps it interesting. I also love stitching houses and flowers, so this is a win-win! Since this is a quilter’s cottage, I had the idea of making a mini version that stopped with the row of spools, they are just so fun a colorful! The stitch count for this chart is 81w x 81h.
Thank you so much for reading about these new designs! They were a joy to design and stitch, and I hope you find joy in them too.
Happy Stitching!
