My name is Katie Nolan, and I’m the heart and hands behind Count Your Stitches Designs. I’ve been designing and selling cross stitch patterns on Etsy since January 2021, but my love for stitching goes way back - 28 years to be exact!

As a military spouse, my family and I move around a lot, which means I’ve had the opportunity to stitch in many different places. My husband serves in the Air Force, and we have two wonderful children who keep us on our toes. This business started as a way for me to stay creative and connected to my passion while being able to care for my family from home.

Crafting runs deep in my veins; I come from a long line of quilters and crafters. Growing up, I was surrounded by beautiful handmade creations, and that love for crafting naturally evolved into a lifelong passion for cross stitching and quilting.

I pour my heart into every pattern I design, aiming to bring a touch of joy and creativity to your stitching projects. Whether you’re a seasoned stitcher or just starting out, I hope my patterns inspire you to create something beautiful.
